An allied nation has rebelled, leaving the Yi Kingdom beset on both sides. It has no choice but to ally with the Liang tribes, whose power is steadily growing, sealing the pact through a political marriage.
Bai Jingting volunteered to serve as envoy, accompanying Yi Ling, the kingdom's only princess, to Liang territory. The Liang lands lie on the northern highland grasslands, and it is a long journey with no known date of return.
The Liang tribes are divided into three branches: the Zhengyan branch of the Prince of Zhenbei, the Langya branch of the Prince of Dongliang, and the Jiangqiang branch of the Prince of Zhaoqiang.
