Tang Ze knew all too well that he had been born in the mud. A sword of Damocles encrusted with dazzlingly colorful gems hung over his head at all times, so he kept running, toward that unknown, dark forest, even though it was governed by bizarre and unpredictable rules.
Fish soared through the sky, their scales gleaming in the sunlight. Rabbits' white fur concealed the bones and flesh of travelers, whose pasts had nearly been digested beneath their skin.
He fought his way through it all. A short dagger pierced the bodies of mysterious monsters, sending purple fountains spraying into the air. He hunted one ridiculous, monkey-suited hunter after another.
All so he could bathe in the crimson light of sunrise and die in that moment, eternal.
Even if the earth rots my corpse, even if the wind erases every trace that I existed, I still yearn to become one with what my heart desires.
I welcome it with open arms.
So he declared.
A novice author suddenly had a bout of chuunibyou and wrote something for fun. If you don't like it, feel free to drop it, but please don't insult me. The protagonist's values aren't mine, so don't take it out on the author. I'm an idiot and I'm sensitive, so don't flame me. Also, I've taken screenshots and uploaded them to Weibo, so please don't copy, thanks (*°?°)=3
