Ulmo warned again that Turgon was also bound by the judgment of Mandos, which Ulmo could not undo. "Therefore," said he, "these things will come to pass: the curse of the Noldor will come upon you, the treachery will begin within the Wall, and the Fire will follow. But if the danger is near, a man from Neflast will come to warn you; and through him, after the Fire, will the Elves and Hope will come to man. Leave therefore the armor and the sword in this house, that he may find it, and by it you may know the man, and be not deceived." Then Ulmo revealed to Turgon what kind and size of helmet, armor, and sword he should leave.
