Blurb:
Schoolteacher x firefighter
Lu Shihuan has two childhood friends. She's been in love with one of them for many years.
During all three years of high school, she was always the first to give him an apple on Christmas Eve.
She was also the first to stay up late knitting him a scarf when the weather turned cold.
Her love lasted for many years.
Fortunately, Wen Shiyi returned her feelings, his eyes full of affection. "Huanhuan, sooner or later, your name will be on my family's household registration."
Only later did Lu Shihuan realize that even two people who love each other can reach a point where they can't stand the sight of one another.
After graduating from university, Lu Shihuan and Wen Shiyi broke up.
At the time, Wen Shiyi's face was cold, anger in his eyes. "You agreed to the bet when you played the game. That's only fair."
"Besides, all she and I did was kiss. So many people were watching, and nothing else happened."
"Is it really that big a deal?"
Lu Shihuan laughed in anger. "Not at all."
She flung the engagement ring Wen Shiyi had given her at his face, her smile mocking and icy. "From now on, kiss whoever you want."
Wen Shiyi thought Lu Shihuan was just throwing a tantrum, and that time would heal her.
All he had to do was wait patiently: a day, a month, three months... At last, Wen Shiyi saw Lu Shihuan again.
His older brother had brought her home, one arm firmly around her slender waist. They were impossibly close.
Then Wen Shiyi heard his brother's deep, amused voice: "Let me introduce you. This is Lu Shihuan, your future sister-in-law."
*Later, my name really did end up on your family's household registration. I became your sister-in-law.*

Blurb:
★ A sweet romance where the childhood friend beats out the newcomer
★ Dashing playboy x refined heiress
Everyone in Shenzhen knows Gu Yaoye, the future heir to Chengyuan Group, is a playboy.
He only drinks the strongest liquor, races the wildest cars, and dates the hottest girls.
So wild and unruly that even his parents have given up trying to control him.
Just when everyone thought no one would ever tame this wild horse, the Gu and Jiang families arranged a marriage.
Jiang Rao, the eldest daughter of the Jiang family, has always been proper and upright. She is about to become Gu Yaoye's fiancée.
-
On the eve of their engagement, Gu Yaoye throws a party at his villa. Jiang Rao happens to come by.
She catches him in the pool, bare-chested and surrounded by a crowd of beauties.
Before Gu Yaoye can explain, Jiang Rao looks down at him from the poolside. "I'm here to cancel the engagement."
"As compensation, I can give you ten percent of the company shares."
With that, she tosses the documents in her hand to him.
Gu Yaoye catches them and curls his thin lips with interest. "Deal."
After Jiang Rao leaves, someone asks Gu Yaoye, "You don't need those shares. Why agree to it?"
The man climbs out of the pool and walks away alone, his strong figure disappearing into the lights. "I can't bring myself to ruin a couple's relationship."
Only then does everyone learn that Jiang Rao already has someone she loves.
-
Not long afterward, the man Jiang Rao loves cheats on her.
After seven years together, she's been betrayed. For the first time in her life, she goes to a bar to drink away her sorrows.
She cries and laughs like a madwoman, so drunk she doesn't recognize anyone.
Through her hazy vision, Jiang Rao sees Gu Yaoye.
He sits down beside her and hands her a cup of hangover tea, wearing a stern, serious expression. "You're putting yourself through all this over a scumbag? You can do better than that."
His scolding makes Jiang Rao so indignant that she slaps the table and stands up. "Aren't you a scumbag too? How dare you criticize anyone?"
Her adorably furious look leaves the man stunned. A moment later, he can't help laughing. "I'm a playboy, not a scumbag."
Jiang Rao glares at him. "What's the difference?"
Gu Yaoye gently pinches her cheek. "Of course there is. Scumbags are ugly. Playboys are handsome."
"..."
"Most importantly, this playboy... has been waiting for you to turn around."
