The Years I Spent Stealing the Tyrant's Heart

Chu Zheng, a newcomer to the transmigration agency, gets an easy role: playing the ruthless boss queen in a palace-intrigue novel. His job is to deal with all the tyrant's consorts, then get killed off at the end. Mission One: [Leave the world's most beautiful man in a hot spring for three days, until he freezes to death] Mist curling through the air, a beauty emerging from the water... As a total pretty-face enthusiast, how could Chu Zheng bear to do that? When the beauty bathes, he has to help carry the water and scrub his back. Mission Two: [Send three consorts to the summer palace and keep them from seeing the emperor. Use force if necessary] A trip to the summer palace with three handsome men? Sounds wonderful! The summer palace isn't hot at all in summer, hehe. On the first day, the tyrant asks coldly, "Did the queen kill someone?" "No." On the third day, the tyrant asks, perplexed, "Who did the queen kill?" "Nobody." On the seventh day, the tyrant can't hold back any longer. "What exactly is the queen doing at the summer palace?" "Boating, horse racing, flying kites, and playing mahjong." On the tenth day, the tyrant tosses and turns. "Why hasn't the queen come back yet?" "The queen has been carousing every night, eating and sleeping with the consorts. He refuses to come back." The tyrant picks up the green hat the queen gave him before leaving and hurls it to the ground. His own queen is trying to steal his men! Bonus scene: The tyrant sips his tea and asks, "The queen has been confined to the Cold Palace for three days. Has he admitted his mistake?" "No. Consort Su personally made him a warm cloak. Consort Mei prepares delicious food for him every meal, and Consort Qin goes to play the zither for him every night and lull him to sleep..." The tyrant smashes his teacup and grits out each word. "Bring him to me. Confine him in my bedchamber!" Theme: No matter what kind of circumstances you find yourself in, your fate is in your own hands.
