A certain BTS interview in 2021

The host asked, "What kind of person is Yu Jibei to you?"

Kim Taehyung thought, What kind of question is that?

Still, he answered seriously, because anything to do with Yu Jibei always interested him more than anything else.

Kim Taehyung: "We've known each other for almost ten years. He's the most special person in my life. The other members are just as important to me, but he's the most special one."

Yu Jibei stood somewhere Kim Taehyung couldn't see, listening to the interview. He was especially happy when he heard that, but Kim Taehyung soon showed him through his actions that he should never let himself be moved.

The host asked Kim Taehyung another question: "Quickly, give me one word to describe Yu Jibei."

Handsome, sexy, elegant, charming... A whole string of words ran through Yu Jibei's mind. He was sure Kim Taehyung would compliment him properly, but Kim Taehyung answered without a moment's thought:

"Fairy."

Yu Jibei: ??? Are you seriously unwell?

The host was intrigued too and immediately asked him why.

Kim Taehyung counted on his fingers. "Fussy, a clean freak, tsundere, picky, and sharp-tongued."

The fans watching already knew all this about Kim Taehyung. After all, they'd followed them for so long. How could they not know what their man was like? [Proudly puffs out chest]

Still, they silently sweated on Kim Taehyung's behalf. Our silly Taehyung, you should save those comments for when you're alone with him. We're worried you won't be able to get back into bed tonight. (Dog head)

The interview ended there. Kim Taehyung said goodbye to the host and was about to get up when, out of the corner of his eye, he spotted a familiar figure beyond the camera.

Oh no, busted.

But would Kim Taehyung be scared? The evidence said yes. He froze. The host thought Kim Taehyung still had something to add since he wasn't leaving, but what he hadn't expected was for Kim Taehyung to really start talking again, as if the interview were still going.

"Xiao Bei is handsome and has a great personality. When I called him a 'fairy,' I meant that he's kind and gentle. As an idol, he's like a textbook example of how to perform on stage. As his teammate, I've always looked up to him and tried to learn from him..."

The host thought, There's no point saying that now. The cameras are off. But his professionalism kept him from interrupting Kim Taehyung, because his sixth sense told him that Kim Taehyung looked exactly like a man whose wife had caught him hiding money, with an overwhelming will to survive.

Yu Jibei had noticed Kim Taehyung's movements long ago. After asking the staff and finding out the interview was over, he walked over and patted Kim Taehyung on the shoulder.

Kim Taehyung took a deep breath, turned around, and smiled brightly at Yu Jibei. "What's up?"

The "kind and gentle" little fairy Yu didn't answer. He grabbed Kim Taehyung by the collar. "We're going to talk when we get back."
