[Western Crossover] Saving the World Is So Exhausting

Superman has changed. After a series of accidents, he went from being the chairman of the Justice League to the ruler of the Injustice League. The entire world trembles under his authority. The Man of Tomorrow seems to be a thing of the past, buried and gone for good. But no one knows that none of this is actually real. His change of heart, his rule over the world: it is all a desperate measure to keep the timeline from collapsing. Unfortunately, restrictions mean he cannot explain any of it, no matter how much he wants to. It is so frustrating. Especially when he sees Batman, his former best partner, reduced to this because of him. Superman feels like he could eat his own heart out. But he can't. So all he can do is feel guilty and miserable while carrying on as if this is all real, dropping hints to Batman from every possible angle in the hope that he'll play along and take Superman down as soon as possible, putting an end to this exhausting situation. Unfortunately, his acting isn't good enough, his behavior is too strange, and for some reason his brain doesn't seem to be working very well either. The message gets a little garbled. And so Batman: I have to bring Clark back! There's still hope for Superman! (Desperately trying to set a certain Sup straight JPG) Superman: I never left, honestly. Stop trying to save me. I suggest you just kill me instead. (Guilty cat, sobbing uncontrollably JPG) The couple in this blurb is these two. The blurb's plot bunny has been filed away. Theme: Save the world and give superheroes a happy ending
