Shi Sui transmigrates into a novel and becomes the unattainable ideal beloved by more than a dozen male and female leads in that world. After keeping the plot on track, he lets loose and starts dating a handsome, wealthy, and considerate boyfriend.
At last, his boyfriend proposes. Shi Sui is so excited he trembles, and just as he's about to nod, the System suddenly sounds an alarm.
"Plot deviation warning. Target Male Lead No. 9 has abandoned his original pairing and firmly chosen the Host! Host, accept the repair mission as soon as possible to avoid punishment!"
Shi Sui reluctantly pushes the ring away.
Wait! I can't get married yet. I have another set to visit!
★
Huo Zhixing, whose proposal just failed, happens to run into his nephew, who has returned from overseas after fleeing his own wedding. The nephew tearfully says he can't get over the ideal love of his life.
Huo Zhixing stifles his annoyance. "What's your ideal love's name? I'll help you find him."
His nephew is deeply moved. "His name is Shi Sui. Let me show you a photo..."
Huo Zhixing looks at the photo on the phone. Isn't that my wife?
His bewildered nephew is immediately bundled off, and only then does Huo Zhixing belatedly realize that every outstanding man and woman around him, including his future stepmother, has the same ideal beloved.
And that person is his Shi Sui.
