The Master's a High-Risk Profession These Days, also known as I Think I Can Keep Laying Low
Mo Zixi transmigrates into a ridiculous story. The protagonist, Master Mo Ziyan, is a despicable villain. But his role is even worse than everyone else's: he has transmigrated into a novel with two male leads, Twin Demon Kings, where he is the first male lead's master. He tortured and mutilated the first male lead, Li Shang, severed his spiritual roots, and dug out his demon core, earning his undying hatred. The second male lead, Li Luo, is the first male lead's older brother. He revealed his identity to save Li Shang, so Mo Ziyan hunted him down. The woman he loved was killed by Mo Ziyan while trying to save him. Great, he's doomed. And apparently, he did all that and offended a whole lot of people too, including his junior brother and the big boss, the Demon Venerable. When Mo Zixi first heard all this, he thought that if he'd transmigrated before doing those awful things, he might still have a chance. If things were at their worst and he hadn't finished doing them yet, then he could correct his mistakes and keep laying low.
System: Um, you've already done all those things. You just killed the second male lead's woman.
Mo Zixi: ...Just kill me.
System: So much for keeping your head down (0д0)
Mo Zixi: I can't keep going. I'm only so capable. Just let me die like this. I don't want to find out how deep their hatred runs.
This is the story of an author transmigrating into the novel he wrote and desperately trying to stay alive.
