Master, I Promise to Turn Over a New Leaf

Zhu Yu transmigrated into a book he'd read and became its ultimate villain.

The villain's fate in the book was unimaginably horrific. Zhu Yu was terrified of dying, absolutely terrified.

Fortunately, he arrived during the villain's teenage years, before he'd offended everyone.

From then on, the foul-tempered, mischievous big bad seemed like a completely different person!

When his master gave a lecture, he was always the first to arrive.

Everyone was shocked: The big bad is actually here to listen to a lecture!

When a junior fellow disciple carried water, he immediately ran over to help.

Everyone whispered among themselves: He actually helped instead of kicking the guy's bucket. Are we seeing things?

During an expedition down the mountain, they came across a monster that had captured an old woman. Zhu Yu was the first to charge in and attack it.

Everyone patted their chests in relief: The big bad actually rescued someone!

Zhu Yu kept changing the story's plot. Seeing that everyone's opinion of him had improved, he figured he wouldn't die as horribly as the original villain, and felt much more at ease.

But as time went by, Zhu Yu noticed a rather alarming problem.

His master's gaze seemed a little strange!

Panicking, Zhu Yu packed his things and fled in the middle of the night.

After You Shen caught him, he raised an eyebrow lazily and asked, "Do you like sneaking around like this, my disciple?"
