After the Protagonist Gong Saw the On-Screen Comments

[Slowly, very slowly, drafting in progress. "Chirp"]

Arc One: The Cold Top Stops Trying

A cold and indifferent top x a puppy-like, love-struck bottom who's obsessed with looks

Shen Yuci is the protagonist top of a campus danmei novel about a tragic romance. Everyone around him thinks he's in love with Song Qing without realizing it.

One day, one of Song Qing's admirers approaches him.

Shen Yuci thinks he's about to hear Song Qing's name again, but the admirer stares at his face, frozen in place, as eye-catching pink, heart-shaped text drifts by.

[Could he be my destined wife!?]

[Wifey, prprpr]

Shen Yuci: ?

Ever since Gu Yu was hit on the head by a rock for no apparent reason, text comments sometimes appear before his eyes.

After learning he's the backup top in a tragic danmei novel, Gu Yu refuses to accept it. Why should a top-tier catch like him have to be someone's backup?

Annoyed, he goes to find the so-called protagonist top, ready to see what makes him so much better.

But the moment Gu Yu sees his "rival's" face, he falls head over heels.

Arc Two: The Devoted Top Quits

A sunny, cheerful top x a seemingly gentle but actually deranged bottom

Zhao Jingrui has spent three months pursuing the first love he fell for at first sight, doing all kinds of foolish things he can't even understand himself.

After being rejected yet again, he asks his best friend out for a drink to drown his sorrows.

But then he sees contradictory red text appear beside his refined and gentle friend.

[I hate this.]

[Why do I like him?]

[When will he finally look back at me?]

Zhao Jingrui: ?

*

Knowing that Zhao Jingrui likes gentle people, Jiang Chuhan has pretended to be refined and gentle from high school through college. But all he gets for his trouble is Zhao Jingrui falling in love at first sight with someone else.

Jiang Chuhan struggles to maintain his refined and gentle persona, while dark thoughts surface one after another whenever Zhao Jingrui pours out his troubles.

But for some reason, why has Zhao Jingrui been looking at him so strangely lately?

Arc Three: Tops One and Two Don't Want to Be Won Over

Arc Four: The Scum Top Refuses the Ex-Wife-Chasing Crematorium

Arc Five: The Substitute Top Doesn't Want to Become the Main One Anymore

Arc Six: The Love-Struck Top Comes to His Senses

There are many kinds of text comments, including but not limited to: the top seeing the bottom's inner thoughts, the top seeing comments from the original story, the top and bottom seeing each other's inner thoughts and putting on a show, the top seeing live comments on the novel, and the top seeing everyone's inner thoughts...
