[The Morose Mononokean] A Fox

Nurarihyon: You seem pretty strong. How about joining my Hundred Demons?

Lin: ?

Rihan: I'm going to become the master of the Night Parade of One Hundred Demons. You'd better keep up.

Yuli: .

Rikuo: Come to my side.

Zechuan: Sure.

In the end, the Fox clan really did manage to capture the heart of this generation's Nura Clan leader. Congratulations!

A little childhood-friends story about three generations, where brotherly bonds passed down from one generation to the next eventually turn into love.

Reader's Guide:

1. Rikuo x original character, 1v1, with the protagonist as the shou.

2. Tons of original headcanon, a very powerful golden finger, and an essentially unbeatable protagonist. Very, very indulgent, so enter at your own risk.

3. The plot generally follows the original storyline, including the anime and manga. I won't deliberately vilify the original characters, though I do have my own preferences.

4. Updates are sporadic, sporadic, sporadic. Important things must be said three times.

I started this story to commemorate a series I love. I didn't want all the character notes to gather dust in a document, so I finally began writing it. I came up with a lot of the setting years ago, and looking at it now might be a little embarrassing, but I've decided not to change it. Ten years have passed, and I'm still stuck in this fandom. Who knows if I'll ever get to see a third season in my lifetime? orz

Theme: Childhood friends grow up together, with yokai collecting.
