Sea of Passion

Sheng Munan was fed up with her parents pestering her to go on blind dates. In a fit of rage, she pointed at a strikingly handsome, laid-back man on the street, wearing headphones and a mask, and claimed he was her new boyfriend.

Unexpectedly, the man turned his head, took off his headphones and lowered his mask, then said nonchalantly to Sheng's parents on her phone, "Hello, Uncle and Auntie."

On the other end of the phone, Sheng's parents suddenly became excited. She turned stiffly and saw that stunning, exceptional face.

Bian Hexuan was an archrival in Sheng Munan's eyes, though the rivalry was entirely one-sided.

From childhood onward, he had been everyone's darling: born with good looks, from a better family than hers, smarter than her, and more likable too. He was also the model her parents constantly told her to learn from.

He was the dark cloud that hung over her even when she was little.

Then, in her second year of high school, Bian Hexuan went abroad, and the sun shone again in Sheng Munan's world.

She never expected that after eight years apart, she would make such a fool of herself under the man's inscrutable gaze.

Her parents had specially arranged an apartment for her because they worried about her living alone in an unfamiliar city.

She left her luggage in the living room and, exhausted from the journey, stumbled sleepily into bed.

The next morning, Sheng Munan sat on the bed, completely bewildered. The man stood tall beside it, bare-chested, his expression cold and haughty as he buttoned his pure white shirt with one hand.

As if to make a point, his long fingers fastened every button, right up to the top one, covering his beautifully defined abs completely.

What the hell was that look for?

Suddenly annoyed, she snapped, "So what if we slept together once?"

She hadn't expected them to actually sleep together later.

More than once.
