A Handbook for Survival as an Ancient Farmer

An accident sends He Miao, a woman past her prime, transmigrating to ancient times, where she becomes an old man over forty with grandchildren. After finally accepting the fact that she has changed sex, He Miao is ready to stay in this strange ancient world and make a life for herself. But she soon discovers, to her despair, that life here is even harder than she imagined. Famine, disease, corvee labor, drought, floods, and war come one after another. Even the world itself grows turbulent. You could say that disasters plague people like them, the poor and powerless, from birth to death. The people can barely survive, and life is nothing like the easy, cozy existence depicted in novels. After wanting to give up more than once, He Miao looks at her emaciated family and finally grits her teeth. Forget it. I'll just take things one step at a time! PS: This story is about a male protagonist transmigrating into the body of a poor farmer and struggling to survive with his family in an ancient world plagued by all kinds of natural and man-made disasters. He will not get rich. Life in ancient times was hard. We are ordinary people in the modern world, so what makes us think we could get rich if we transmigrated to ancient times? A few recipes and a soap formula? The people of the past weren't fools. Better to think about how to survive first! A reader's guide: 1. A woman transmigrates into a man's body, so don't expect a romance. 2. There is a golden finger, because surviving in this ancient world, where people can barely make a living, would otherwise be impossible. 3. Life is hard, but not completely hopeless. There will still be a little sweetness to help everyone keep going. 4. I haven't thought of anything else yet. I'll add it when I do. Theme: No matter how hard life gets, keep going
