[Qing Transmigration] The Prosperity-Bringing Ninth Princess Consort

In her previous life, Yun Hui was a black cat, and she has kept the black cat's traits in this one: she protects the home, wards off evil, and brings wealth. A pat on the head brings good luck, while stepping on her tail brings misfortune.

She's human now and has no tail, but anyone she dislikes is bound to have bad luck. To avoid accidentally hurting anyone, she pretends to be ill and stays indoors, planning to spend her life eating, drinking, and enjoying herself at the estate.

But the overbearing Ninth Prince insists on marrying her, a sickly woman.

Thinking of how the princes all have wives and concubines by the dozen, Yun Hui figures she is bound to feel resentful in the future. So she kindly warns him, “You won't get anything out of marrying me.”

The Ninth Prince replies, “I have everything I need except a wife. I don't need to get anything out of it.”

After they marry, the Ninth Prince gradually realizes that as long as he keeps his consort happy, everything goes smoothly that day. Roads appear where there are mountains, and bridges appear where there is water. But if he makes her angry, he could choke on a sip of water.

“Wife, I'm heading out. Come pat my head, quick.”

“I thought you said you didn't need to get anything out of it?”

“Anyone else, maybe. But not you. My wife is my sky, my earth, the fresh air rushing toward me when I can't breathe.”

The Ninth Prince has three secrets:

One: He is reborn.

Two: In this life, his consort is someone else.

Three: His consort is extraordinary.
