The Hong Kong Entertainment Industry in the 1990s

Hong Kong in the 1990s was full of beauties, each one breathtaking in her own way.

Qiao Yu was pretty and had an outstanding presence. Unfortunately, no director ever noticed her.

She was born into a family of actors, but her husband was a country bumpkin who used her father's connections to climb the ladder. After his career took off, he secretly kept her as his wife for thirty years to preserve his image as a heartthrob.

Reborn in 1991, before she was married, Qiao Yu kicked that leech to the curb.

"If all it takes is connections to climb the ladder, then this time I'll try climbing it myself."
