I really love the Chief Inspector Shin of Kiyomizu’s writing: he’s righteous, kind, and capable. But I always feel his heart is so heavy, and he never seems to find the love he deserves. Inspired by the second case in the anime, the Ninth Bureau once again joins forces with the FBI over a major international case. I’m also not a fan of Miyoshi, and I especially can’t stand wooden characters, so I’ve added two new ones to the story, one good and one evil. What is the truth behind this baffling case? And who will finally rescue Shin from his misery and help him win the love of a beautiful woman?
