Zuo Jia is a web novel writer whose stories never take off.
His latest work has flopped again.
As Zuo Jia stared at the lonely “1” next to “Current Bookmarks,” he decided to delete his pen name for the Nth time.
Then he was pulled into a mysterious space and bound to some thing called the “Flop Author Rescue System.”
System: Want to know why your stories keep flopping? Let’s take a look at what you’ve been writing!
The System took Zuo Jia into the world he had created, where he met a somewhat goofy boy named Du Zhe.
Looking at the boy’s admiring, expectant gaze, Zuo Jia decided to grit his teeth and pretend to be a master storyteller.
But the world around him was so pale and crude. He couldn’t keep up this act much longer!
Not wanting to disappoint those hopeful eyes, the flop author Zuo Jia made up his mind. Time to get to work!
