Tender Embrace

Completed Blurb Princess Mu Jinshu of Zhaoning has a lovely face, elegant features, and a graceful figure. She is like a cool, dignified flower blooming on a high mountain peak. She was the only daughter left in a family of distinguished generals. When she was young, the emperor took her in as his adopted daughter, mindful of her youth and her ancestors' great service to the dynasty. That was how she received her title of princess. ** In a dream, she returned to that late night years ago. Her imperial brother had a high fever and was delirious. He had held her close, their temples brushing, their feelings tender and intimate... When Mu Jinshu suddenly woke from the dream, her cheeks were flushed, and she sat lost in thought for a long time. ** Two years later, the Second Prince returned from campaigning in the northern frontier, leading his troops home. At the news, Mu Jinshu accidentally scraped her fingertip with her jade hairpin, drawing a bead of blood. When they met again, his features were deep and striking, with a young man's ruggedness. He was much darker and taller than before. Mu Jinshu's expression remained as cool and indifferent as ever as she greeted him with, "Second Imperial Brother." Yet the end of her voice trembled despite herself. He had once been the adopted brother who cherished her most. Now he was the person who felt most like a stranger to her. P.S. The male and female leads are not related by blood. Both are virgins. A sweet romance focused purely on feelings. The plot serves the romance. Theme: Stay true to yourself and pursue the one you love.
