Xu Wanxiu transmigrated into a period novel and became the laziest woman in the residential compound in the 1960s.
Everyone knew that the wife of Colonel Zhao couldn't do a thing, but was always first in line for food and drink. She ate like a queen every day, and even Colonel Zhao couldn't afford to keep her. Once the rice jar was empty, he'd leave her sooner or later!
Xu Wanxiu looked at the empty rice jar and thought of Colonel Zhao, who'd just returned from a mission and was planning to come home for dinner that night. She frowned and started to cry.
"Ding dong! Say one sentence to Zhao Guoqiang and receive half a jin of white rice."
"Ding dong! Hold Zhao Guoqiang's hand once and receive ten jin of white flour."
"Ding dong! Hug Zhao Guoqiang once and receive ten jin of pork."
"Ding dong! Get intimate with Zhao Guoqiang once and receive a bicycle."
Little by little, people in the residential compound noticed that the rice jar in Xu Wanxiu's home never seemed to run out. The fragrance of white rice filled the air every day, and her relationship with Colonel Zhao kept getting better. They even had another child or two.

Su Xiaoyan returned to the time before the apocalypse and awakened her spatial ability ahead of time. She gathered supplies from all over, enough food, clothes, and daily necessities to fill her five-hundred-square-meter space. But after falling asleep, she woke up transmigrated into the body of a saleswoman at a supply and marketing cooperative in the 1970s.
The original owner came from the countryside and had accidentally saved an important person, who arranged for her to work at the cooperative. Her coworkers mocked her, while villagers took every opportunity to guilt-trip her into buying scarce goods like brown sugar and soap for them. Unable to take the pressure, the original owner broke down.
After their souls switched, Su Xiaoyan looked at the brown sugar and soap on the counter. Everything required a ration coupon to buy, but when she thought of all the goods in her space, she smiled.
By day, she sold goods at the cooperative. At night, she went back to the village to trade supplies with the villagers, and occasionally made deals with city folk.
Before long, the other saleswomen at the cooperative were surprised to find that Su Xiaoyan was a natural at her job, and that many people loved buying things from her.
The villagers' lives grew more and more comfortable. Their family was the only one that could buy these highly sought-after goods at low prices without ration coupons.
The city folk were satisfied, too. Their family was the only one that could trade ration coupons for food and pay less money on top of that.
Su Xiaoyan thought of all the extra money and ration coupons in her space. Her days of lazing around seemed to be getting closer and closer.
Later, when the winds of reform swept the land and everyone celebrated, people finally realized that the kind, beautiful Su Xiaoyan they'd always admired had already saved her first fortune and become wealthy ahead of them all.
