Please visit my profile and add it to your favorites. Thank you! Xu Yixin woke up to find herself sitting in a bridal sedan. Just then, a mechanically stupid female voice sounded in her mind: "Congratulations! You've been bound to the 'A Word Becomes Prophecy' System!" That's how she learned she'd transmigrated into a romance novel called "The General's Lord Shaoqing." She was now the Princess Zhaonan of the Song Kingdom. Although she was the male lead's lost love, she had fewer than five hundred words of dialogue, because she died in chapter one while being sent to marry into another kingdom. Her current mission was to win over the villainous side character, General You Shuoming of the enemy kingdom, and make sure the male and female leads got their happy ending. But those two missions were completely contradictory! If she married into the enemy kingdom and won over its general, she'd be separated from the male and female leads by an entire country. How could she help bring them together and give them their happy ending??? After thinking it over, Xu Yixin decided that she wasn't going through with the marriage for now. She had to run away and find the male and female leads. So, relying on her "A Word Becomes Prophecy" jinx ability, she began her escape. However, the leader of the wedding party sent to fetch her was none other than You Shuoming in disguise. And so their battle of wits began: The first time, she got stuck in a tree. You Shuoming stood below with his arms crossed and looked up at her. "How long are you going to stay up there? Would you like me to help?" The second time, she fell off a handcart, and You Shuoming grabbed her by the ankle. "How exactly did you get out of Huaining City? The gates always close at the hour of the Pig." Xu Yixin hunched her shoulders. No special trick. She'd just crawled through a dog hole. The third time, she made a massive prophecy-jinx, and the entire wedding party ended up tied up in a bandit stronghold. Xu Yixin: This useless System is the reason I'm in trouble! Meanwhile, You Shuoming slowly fell for her as they spent time together. So when he accompanied her home to visit her family, he saw Shaoqing Shen Xinfang of the Court of Judicial Review fussing over her, Chief Attendant Yan Tongfu at the princess's residence obeying her every command, and how considerate she was toward General Su Jinglun of the Imperial Guards. You Shuoming was consumed with jealousy and pinned her to the bed, demanding, "You never told me you had so many admirers in the Song Kingdom." Xu Yixin: "...Big brother, Su Jinglun is a woman." Su Jinglun was the heroine of this romance mystery novel! She was only disguising herself as a man out of necessity. You Shuoming: "? It doesn't matter whether she's a man or a woman. First of all, I'm your husband, not your 'big brother.' Call me husband!" Reader's guide: 1. [1v1, both leads are each other's only partners] A beautiful, lively, kind-hearted, mischievous princess who loves putting on an act, sent to marry into another kingdom x A straightforward, stiff, innocent, stubbornly straight, jealous general from the enemy kingdom 2. The original heroine and hero are not villains! They're a couple, and they're staying together! The original heroine is Su Jinglun, a woman disguised as a man who serves as a general in the Imperial Guards. The original hero is Shen Xinfang, a Shaoqing at the Court of Judicial Review. Before Xu Yixin transmigrated into the book, he and Princess Zhaonan were in love. 3. The original second male lead is Xu Zhaohe, ruler of the Song Kingdom and Princess Zhaonan's biological younger brother. He's a yandere. 4. Warning: there's a BL subplot (very little page time). 5. An unbelievably sweet story. Don't believe me? See for yourself. Theme: Keep going through every setback, and you'll reach your goal
