Bai Tao is the owner of the Wish House. He was originally a cultivator, but later got bound to something calling itself a System. They made a deal: the System would take Bai Tao to other worlds, and Bai Tao would give it half of the merit points he earned. Bai Tao needs the merit points to ascend.
The vast worlds contain every kind of wonder. This world is a set of nested worlds, each with its own script. Though they are called scripts, they are more like the future. When those novels become real worlds, flaws appear in them. Bai Tao's job is to eliminate those flaws and earn merit points.
