[Story Description: Delicate, wealthy, sweet young woman + X + A sharp-tongued but soft-hearted young marquis who keeps getting proven wrong]
Yongning was home to the famous Qingchun House.
Qingchun House was a place of enchanting beauty and endless spring.
But unlike other brothels, everyone who served there was a man.
Bai Nian had heard that the men at Qingchun House were exceptionally handsome, each with a refined and striking appearance.
At the urging of her close friend, she shamelessly went to visit Qingchun House.
At first, she only wanted to broaden her horizons. Then she saw a cool, aloof man who looked like an immortal...
Bai Nian harbored an improper desire. She poked the handsome man's face. “Would you like me to buy you and take you home?”
The man looked slightly taken aback, then smiled like a spring breeze. “All right.”
Later, a coup broke out in the capital, Yongning fell into chaos, and the Bai family struggled to get by.
When she woke up one morning, the handsome older brother had vanished, leaving her behind. Her own mother had sold her into a brothel with a contract.
Just as she wept until her eyes were red and resisted with all her might, the brothel madam changed her usual ruthless ways and treated her to the best food and drink.
“Don't be afraid, miss. Since Marquis Qi bought you, no one would dare lay a finger on you.”
Marquis Qi? Was that Qi Xun, the man with countless military victories, a ruthless and sinister disposition, and enough influence that even His Majesty had to show him some deference?
Bai Nian grew even more frightened. “Why would Marquis Qi buy me?”
[Description Two:]
While helping His Majesty root out corrupt officials, Qi Xun was hunted by assassins and accidentally barged into Qingchun House, a brothel full of male courtesans.
He had no idea where the generous little girl had come from, but she immediately offered to buy him.
He figured hiding out in the neighborhood would be fine, since it would draw less attention.
He planned to return to the military camp once the danger had passed.
Later, when a coup broke out in the capital, he rushed back to camp overnight and led his troops to quell the rebellion.
Everyone in the army knew that Marquis Qi was ruthless and merciless. Make one wrong move, and you'd meet a miserable end.
Until one day, a fair-skinned, beautiful young woman appeared in the camp.
Not only did she call the young marquis by name, she also ordered him to do this and that.
The soldiers turned pale. What kind of girl would dare provoke the young marquis, who always paid people back in kind?
They secretly lifted a corner of the tent, eager to see what would happen.
Inside, the young marquis had his sleeves rolled up and was kneeling on one knee, holding the girl's delicate foot and coaxing her gently. “Nian Nian, does it still sting?”
[Twelve years apart, and now she's just a little girl] Also titled “The Darling Little Girl”
1. The male lead pretends to be harmless while hiding his true nature, and there's a mild groveling arc.
2. Both?????
3. Set in a fictional world, so don't worry about historical accuracy.

[1]
When Lu Shao was fifteen, the lady of the Lu household sent her to bring good fortune to a dying man.
The groom was none other than Jin Yan, the all-powerful, bloodthirsty director of the Directorate of Ceremonial Affairs in the Liang Dynasty.
Lu Shao was cautious and attentive, never daring to make a mistake.
She thought that once the factory director woke up, he would either send her away or chop her up and feed her to the dogs.
But the factory director neither killed her nor sent her away.
Life was actually pretty comfortable.
Lu Shao happily munched on candied fruit, thinking that the stories people told about him must all be wrong.
How could such a handsome factory director be a demon who killed without blinking?
Until one day, she saw him cripple a guard and sinisterly sniff the fresh blood on the tip of his embroidered spring saber.
Lu Shao's legs immediately went weak. She shut the door and shakily packed her belongings, fleeing in the middle of the night.
[2]
When Jin Yan woke up, Lu Shao was feeding him medicine mouth to mouth.
His expression was dark. If his arm hadn't been too weak to lift, he might have snapped Lu Shao's delicate neck in his hands.
Several times, he couldn't stop himself from wanting to strike. But before he could even growl at her, Lu Shao's sweet voice would ring in his ears.
“Factory director, are you cold? Shaoshao will warm you up.”
“Factory director, be good and drink your medicine. Then you'll get much better.”
“Factory director, is it boring lying in bed? Shaoshao will tell you a story, okay?”
Jin Yan suppressed his murderous intent and closed his eyes.
Fine, he'd let her stay for now.
But could someone explain why the little companion he'd kept for months was trying to run away?
[3]
When Jin Yan returned to the residence, he happened to run into Lu Shao as she tried to escape in the middle of the night.
He ran a hand over the gleaming blade and asked ominously, “Where are you going so late?”
Lu Shao's little face turned deathly pale. She obediently clung to Jin Yan. “Sob, sob, factory director, hold me close. Shaoshao isn't going anywhere. Please don't chop off my hands and feet.”
[4]
Everyone thought Lu Shao wouldn't live long as Jin Yan's companion.
One day, Lu Shao fell ill in bed, and the imperial physicians knelt all over the place. The factory director, usually sinister and cruel, trembled as he held the medicine bowl.
“Shaoshao, please drink a little, all right? The factory director will buy you some delicious honey candies.”
Only then did everyone realize that the director's hands weren't just for wielding a bloodstained blade. They could cradle a little face, pour tea, wipe away tears, and feed someone honey candies too.
Theme: Earn happiness through self-reliance
How should I put it? It feels like it starts but ends at the end. Many plots feel almost boring and not stretched out.
Finished spreading flowers ~ the rest is a bit rushed
The overall story line is good, but the second half is too rushed. Personally, I think it would be sweeter if some details about the male protagonist could be expanded and written. But it's beautiful
Finished~ I feel like the ending was rushed, but the overall story is pretty good. Press a claw
Finish spreading flowers, mua! Looking forward to the big new article! I really want to see the factory supervisor! Please!
I still have more to say...!
Congratulations on the big completion! I've been waiting for a really long time! I finally saw that Nian Nian and the little Marquis lived happily. The ending was really healing. The fate between Nian Nian and the Little Marquis was destined to end well. I think this is what Nian Nian has been looking forward to, to live a peaceful life together with the one she loves. Niannian has suffered a lot of grievances along the way, but I believe that from now on, she will not shed any tears of grievance, because she has found a beloved person who can be with her in this life. I still want to thank Dada for bringing us such a heart-warming story. I look forward to meeting Dada again, mua!
Is it discontinued? Nice
I'll update it every few days or if something happens, let me know later. I'll save it and watch it every day. There won't be any updates.
