A Few Tales of a Princess and a Holy Monk

Li Anran, the emperor's eldest daughter, was granted the title Prince of Ning. Beautiful and alluring, she was the most wanton, flamboyant, and breathtaking peony blooming in the fertile lands of Great Zhou. Though she was the eldest daughter, she was never given the title of princess. Instead, at fifteen, she was first granted the title of Duke of Loyalty, Bravery, and Resolve. After that, things only escalated, and even at twenty-six she still had no spouse. The emperor fretted endlessly over his eldest daughter's marriage. Every year, he hung portraits and birth details of the unmarried sons of noble families in the capital in his study, urging her to choose one soon. Unable to bear it any longer, Prince Ning volunteered to go to Yongzhou to recuperate. Who could have guessed that when she returned, she would bring along a quick-witted, handsome and refined... monk? The revered monk Rong Ku was as pure and serene as the moon, gentle and tranquil, like the bright moon in the sky and a pearl in the sea. Though they didn't dare gossip in front of Li Anran, the noble ladies privately speculated that this handsome monk must be Prince Ning's "male favorite." Li Anran: "...He's not. He isn't." Rong Ku: "...I thought I was?" Li Anran: "If you don't know what they mean by 'male favorite,' don't just admit to it!" Eldest Princess: "The monk is the treasure I picked up. I wish I could hold him in my hands and play with him all day." Rong Ku: "Princess, our souls may be connected, but that is a very improper thing to say." Everyone: "Huh? Something's off about this monk!" Content warning: A sweet and bold, universally adored Mary Sue of an eldest princess x a tea-sipping, snarky, jealous monk A few unusual warnings: 1. There are some strange love triangles. 2. The eldest princess is too much of a tomboy. 3. "I regard you all as loyal ministers and capable generals. Do not debase yourselves!" jpg Going premium on June 13. Please don't let it pile up in your reading list.
