A Hapless Soul Gets a Job Offer from the Divine Department (Quick Transmigration)
冤种拿到神职offer(快穿)
by Ye Tianhe (野田河)
Synopsis
The Ice Age, Predetermined Program, and The Battle of the Gods are complete. The Origin of Species is updating now.
You can also check out the completed novels and upcoming stories in my Dormitory series. The blurbs for upcoming stories are at the bottom.
Blurb:
"The Divine Realm is hiring freelance saviors! No degree or experience required. No salary. Work around the clock, seven days a week. Six types of insurance and a housing fund are fully covered by the company. No accommodation or meals provided. Take a look at the contract, and if everything looks fine, sign it right away."
The four female college seniors of Dorm 502 look at the HR lady in front of them, then at the job listing, then out the door at the raging horde of zombies and the people screaming and fleeing. Remembering their classmate, who was thrown out to be eaten by zombies for refusing to sign, they shudder three times and are forced to sign the employment agreement.
The next moment, they’re sent to a world of ice and snow.
"Go save other worlds and gain the ability to turn back time! If you can rewind to before it all began, you can nip the zombie outbreak in the bud!"
And so...
In the frozen wilderness, they huddle together, shivering. Before they can figure out what’s going on, a tribe of Homo sapiens mistakes them for invaders and drags them away.
In the midst of a battle between the gods, they appear right in the center of the battlefield. They watch as a few immortals slice a mountain in half, nearly burying them at its base.
In the open sea, they crowd onto a tiny wooden boat, bewildered and helpless. The next moment, a whale swallows them, boat and all.
The four of them each cling to a piece of wreckage and spit out the salty seawater. "What kind of ridiculously unlucky people are we, if we get this unlucky every single time we show up? Can’t they send us somewhere at a better time?!"
To save their own world, they have no choice but to save even more worlds.
They may be unlucky, but they’re heroes too.
P.S.
1. The four protagonists are based on me and my three college roommates. We each picked our own names, so there’s nothing I can do if they’re hard to pronounce. None of the other characters are based on anyone, unless they want to make a cameo.
2. The novel was originally titled You Have a New Doomsday Assignment (quick transmigration).
3. The completed Dormitory series novel, 8.88 Million Yuan Deposited Into Your Alipay (zombie apocalypse, no superpowers), is also in my collection.
Blurb for the upcoming Dormitory series novel Who in Their Right Mind Would Transmigrate Into a Book?:
Qiu Ming is lounging in her dorm room recliner, scrolling through her social media feed, when she sees an ad.
The background is a real photo of an airport. Cartoon versions of the male and female leads stand on opposite sides: the woman is a pure, gentle, delicate flower, while the man is an arrogant, domineering CEO. Three identical little babies are pasted in between them.
The caption reads:
Three years ago, he abandoned her and married the daughter of a business partner. Heartbroken, she jumped into the sea and vanished without a trace. Three years later, she returns as an internationally renowned young pianist, bringing three genius babies with her...
"Ruoming, you’re alive!"
"I’m sorry, sir, but you must have me confused with someone else."
That day, he flew into a rage, and the whole city exploded!
Qiu Ming looks disgusted and can’t help complaining to her roommates: "Would anyone seriously click on an idiotic ad like this to read a novel? And 'the whole city exploded'? Is this domineering CEO secretly an active volcano or something?"
As soon as she finishes speaking, a bolt of lightning strikes from the clear sky. Her vision turns white, and when she opens her eyes again, she’s inside the novel from the ad!
She looks in the mirror. Good grief, what a pure, gentle, delicate flower!
And she hasn’t transmigrated alone. Her three roommates came along too!
Her rugged roommate, who’s obsessed with anime, has become the male lead’s refined and elegant wealthy mother.
Her roommate, who’s obsessed with making money and has no interest in men, has become the daughter of the male lead’s business partner, who’s been in love with him for twenty years and finally marries him.
And her most mature, curvaceous roommate, with her elegant, wealthy-lady style, has split into three and become Qiu Ming’s three genius babies...
Uh, what...
And that’s not all. While they’re still reeling, a mechanical voice rings in their ears:
"Foolish humans! How dare you mock our powerful AI writing system! As punishment, you must follow the original plot from beginning to end before you can return to the real world!"
Qiu Ming: Oh no, we’re doomed!
System: Ha ha! Foolish humans, you’re finished!
Qiu Ming: No, I mean the male lead is finished... Surrounded by four goofballs, he’s bound to lose his mind sooner or later...
System: ???
Note:
1. The male lead of this novel is not the male lead of the original book.
2. This is a silly comedy with no logic. Everything serves the silliness.
3. Qiu Ming is the main female lead. There may not be much romance.
Blurb for the upcoming Dormitory series novel Graduation Trip Fantasy [Infinite Flow]:
After being reduced to husks by their graduation theses, the four women of Dorm 502 are finally revived once their defenses are over.
"Let’s go! Time for a trip!"
They rent a camper van and set off on a graduation trip without a plan.
But as soon as they get in, the vehicle’s built-in navigation turns on by itself:
[Welcome to Crazy Travel Mode. The road ahead leads to hell. Watch your step. You must stay alive to reach the next attraction.]
A temple where ghost hands craft flowers, a classical garden with the four seasons carved into its leaves, a cruise ship forever submerged underwater, a haunted amusement park, a grassland riddled with lightning, a desert that turns people into sand...
As reality and fantasy collide, the other tourists scream, sob, and regret embarking on this desperate journey. But the four of them...
"The scenery here is gorgeous! Come take a photo!"
"Stick your leg out a little farther. That’s it! It makes your legs look longer!"
"Oh, your phone camera’s colors are terrible. Use mine, it has a beauty filter!"
"What’s good to eat here? Where’s that hot pot place you looked at yesterday?"
The other tourists: ???
Everyone else is trying to escape with their lives, but these four really are here on vacation.
*This is still a story about the four roommates.
*For various reasons, the four of us couldn’t all make it on our graduation trip. So I decided to add the missing person to a story based on our trip and write this to make up for the regret (+?▽`)
Theme: Be brave and strong. Even ordinary people can be heroes.

I am reminded of middle school politics class. Freedom is not about doing whatever you want, but having the right not to do it. Everything has a measure
His personality goes to extremes. This is what happens when things go to extremes, right? But how did the village come to be established with such a high mortality rate? After becoming hegemonic, do they know when is enough?
Hey, how I hope this "gentle and kind" Rainbow Goddess is really kind and kind! By the way, add some firepower to Qiuqiu Golden Finger!!
Ah, this... Feels... Rotten to the core... (Although this may be a bit exaggerated)
Unrestricted freedom is really scary
Strange order, strange freedom
Is this old man painting cakes for others again?
Now all that's left is to chat about life with the Genesis Programmer.
It's really puzzling that there are so many living people in this village...
Depend on. Fortunately, Wei Fei reacted quickly and followed suit.
