Becoming the Savior in a Horror Instance [Infinite]

The Demon Emperor Yan Xin was so reckless in his ways that, while undergoing his tribulation, he was blasted into pieces by eighty-one bolts of heavenly lightning. To earn merit and repair his shattered body, he had no choice but to turn over a new leaf, adopt a secret identity as a cannon-fodder character, and travel through various worlds as their savior. One day, the model overworked employee finally couldn't take it anymore. He voluntarily chose a seemingly easy school-life scenario so he could take a vacation. Then, completely by surprise, he woke up in a dark, empty girls' dormitory, wearing an ill-fitting school uniform skirt. Well-traveled Yan Xin remained unfazed: ...It's just dressing up as a girl. No big deal. That was until he read the mission briefing. Rumor had it that Qing Shui High School had ten campus ghost stories, but so far only nine had come true. According to the plot, he would be killed in three days. Then, consumed by the resentment of his unjust death, he would become the protagonist of the final ghost story. By then, all ten ghost stories would come true, and the entire school would become a haunted wasteland, empty of the living. Well-traveled Yan Xin fell apart: ...Wait, this isn't the kind of school life I wanted. * A pale ghostly hand lurking in the classroom, a telephone ringing precisely at midnight, classmates who all have the same face... Yan Xin, revealed in his true form, stands alone in the darkness. Beneath his sleeves, his fingers turn into claws, and droplets of blood glimmer on their tips like rubies. Though death lurks close by, his voice is gentle and kind. "Our meeting must be fate." "I have been waiting for you for quite some time." [Beneath the tranquil lake lies an abyss. Welcome, everyone.] Theme: Be a good person
