My next historical romance will be The Abandoned Consort of the Cold Palace. The blurb is below. If you like it, feel free to add it to your favorites. A bow~
1.
The old emperor had eight sons, seven of whom fought for the throne.
Only the Sixth Prince, whose legs were disabled and who relied on a wheelchair, had become a useless man.
Rumor had it the Sixth Prince was sinister and twisted by nature, cruel in his methods, eccentric and aloof, and difficult to get along with.
Seeing that he was disabled and had no future, none of the ministers were willing to marry their beloved daughters into his household.
The old emperor favored the Sixth Prince. With a single imperial decree, he ordered the youngest daughter of Chancellor Liu to marry him.
Miss Liu cried, made a scene, and threatened to hang herself, refusing to marry him even if it killed her.
After weighing his options, Chancellor Liu seized on a weakness and threatened Lu Yiner, a maid in his household, into taking her place.
With tears in her eyes, Lu Yiner sobbed as she put on her wedding dress and went to the wedding.
2.
Lu Yiner and Prince Yi, seated in his wheelchair, bowed three times and became husband and wife.
That night, beneath the red candles, she waited and waited. At long last, Prince Yi came over with a gloomy expression and lifted her veil.
But beneath it, he found a smiling girl with eyes like autumn waters, looking at him without the slightest fear.
He had no idea that she had schemed and plotted to finally marry him.
3.
After Lu Yiner married into the prince's household, she began trying every possible way to cure Prince Yi.
But every time he looked at her, it was as if he were staring at a spy with ulterior motives.
Once she had healed his legs, she decided to leave now that her task was complete, before her identity was exposed and disaster struck.
She packed her belongings and was just about to run when Prince Yi stopped her.
The stern-faced man approached her step by step, trapping her within inches of him.
“Lu Yiner,” he said beneath the moonlight, his voice damp and hoarse as if soaked in dew. “You’re so heartless. Had your fun and now you want to run?”

1. The male lead really is disabled, but the female lead will heal him later.
2. Both leads are each other's one and only. A slice-of-life story with light political intrigue.
3. A melodramatic story set in an alternate world, with plenty of fictional liberties. Everything serves the plot, so don't scrutinize the details. If you do, it'll break your heart.
The Abandoned Consort of the Cold Palace:
With no other choice, Qin Weixi climbed into the sedan chair taking her to the palace.
She was given the title Consort Luo. That single word, “Luo,” made her the target of endless ridicule.
Fortunately, the palace gates were always shut, and the ruthless, grim-faced emperor on the throne never came to see her.
She lost the emperor's favor as soon as she entered the palace, becoming a laughingstock for countless people over their tea and meals.
Then, one day, she was blindfolded and pushed into a dark room.
Someone approached her, cold, slender fingers lifting her chin.
“Are you clean?”
His voice was cold and clear, like one of the Ten Kings of Hell.
After that, he summoned her again and again.
He tormented her time after time. When she could bear it no longer, her eyes reddened, and she heard him tease her by her ear.
“I've barely even touched you. Why are you crying?”
Theme: Face every thorn together, and move forward without fear.
The author really has no talent in this area. How can he make all the old romance stories even worse? Oh my God, I can't stand it anymore after reading this. Help, even the most worth-watching escape story is badly written. The heroine obviously wanted to fix her leg at the beginning, but by the time she got to chapter 50, she was still thinking that she hadn't done anything at all. After reading about 90, I really couldn't help it. I can't remember any of the storyline in the whole book. It's so boring. Why on earth did the author write this book?
Wenwen is very beautiful, come on, madam!
Please torture the male protagonist more, please
I feel that no one around the prince wants Xi'er to be by his side, and they don't try their best to find her. I feel that I am doing it for your own good, which is also a kind of hurt.
Very well written, thank you
Thanks for the limited offer, it's very nice!!!
Wow, so beautiful!!!!
I was healed too! Come on!
There are no small buns hahahaha
Are there any buns tomorrow?
