The Bizarre Events of a Hot Summer

[Campus Mystery] * Photographer Jiang Jiang has been plagued by nightmares lately. She dreams that she's kneeling in the rain, clawing at someone's grave with both hands and sobbing her heart out as she digs. As she digs, she uncovers a redwood coffin. The lid slides open on its own, and a skeleton sits up. It turns to look at her, its teeth clattering, and somehow manages to speak. It gives a soft snort, its tone mocking: "You actually came to save me?" Jiang Jiang's anger flares, and she chops him on the crown of his skull. Save you? Not a chance, you bastard. I'm here to deal with you! * Twenty-seven-year-old Jiang Jiang receives a letter she wrote to herself ten years ago. It gives her two pieces of advice: First, stay away from the abandoned psychiatric hospital in town. Second, go find the childhood friend she never got along with. Jiang Jiang tries to find out where he is, only to discover that he died ten years ago, in that abandoned hospital.
