The Retired Big Shot Just Wants to Live Off His Looks

The leads for the TV adaptation of the novel Probe were announced. Award-winning actor Jin Shi would play one of its popular villains, while Wu Cheng, a specialist in playing pretty but useless characters, would play the villain's devoted lackey, a handsome, rich playboy. Wu Cheng: Fine. I only want to get by on my looks anyway. Halfway through filming Probe, however, Wu Cheng, who only wanted to get by on his looks, suddenly switched bodies with the award-winning actor. Wu Cheng was a retired big shot from the quick transmigration department. He'd only wanted to coast through life in the entertainment industry, but this sudden accident threatened his career as a pretty face. * Right after they switched bodies, Jin Shi, who thought a certain pretty face would be easy to control, cornered Wu Cheng in the dressing room and told him to come to his room that night for acting lessons. But Wu Cheng gave him a lazy glance and said, "I'm not going. You come here." For the sake of his professional reputation, Jin Shi reluctantly gave in, his face dark with displeasure. During their scene, the award-winning actor delivered his lines with complete focus. Wu Cheng suddenly raised a hand to stop him. "Tone it down. I'm just a pretty face." Then, in the next scene, Wu Cheng's villain was flawless in both expression and tone. Jin Shi was furious. You call that a pretty face? Then he had another thought: If Wu Cheng can play a pretty face so brilliantly, so can I! Later, after Probe wrapped filming, the two returned to their own bodies. Wu Cheng walked away without a care, but Jin Shi fell for him. During the promotional tour, the cast appeared on a variety show. Watching the top-tier male lead enthusiastically interact with Wu Cheng beside him, Jin Shi was thoroughly annoyed. Wu Cheng hadn't expected a celebrated actor like Jin Shi to be so bad at playing a pretty face. Before the show aired, he only had fans who liked his looks. After it aired, he gained fans who cared about his career too. Even reviewers said he'd delivered an unexpectedly award-winning performance. Faced with the eager expectations of his fans and manager, Wu Cheng had no choice but to pursue a serious acting career. Don't ask. It's all Jin Shi's fault. #IOnlyWantedToGetByOnMyLooksButWasForcedToRelyOnTalent# #TheAwardWinningActorSetMeUpAndNowWantsToDateMe# Formerly cold workaholic, now love-struck, determined to follow the romance plot, top X Formerly gorgeous and lazy, now a reluctant talent who has to follow the plot, bottom The idea came to me on 2020.10.18, and I have a screenshot saved.
