Li Sangsang knows a secret about the Crown Prince.

After a palace banquet, the violent and willful Crown Prince Gao Huan gets drunk and embraces her, calling her by her older sister's name: “Zhenzhen, if only you knew how I felt…”

On her older sister's wedding day, Gao Huan stands outside the window, his expression unreadable.

To save her family, Li Sangsang offers herself to him.

Gao Huan gazes at Li Sangsang's alluring face, his eyes darkening. He lifts her chin with a teasing touch. “The Li family is renowned for its literary tradition. How did it produce a shameless woman like you?”

Everyone thinks Gao Huan and Li Sangsang have never had anything to do with each other. But in a corner where no one can see them, Gao Huan grips her waist and murmurs in her ear, “Zhenzhen, why…”

After Gao Huan ascends the throne, he does not spare Li Sangsang's family.

Li Sangsang kneels before him, but her plea is denied.

Calmly smoothing her disheveled hair, Li Sangsang speaks softly: “Your Majesty, my name is Sangsang.”

In a snowstorm, Consort Shu falls from the jade tower.

Gao Huan swallows the blood in his throat, his fingertips trembling. “Sangsang, come back.”

After being reborn, Li Sangsang coolly looks at the young Gao Huan pestering her, then pushes him into the lake.

Gao Huan comes down with a high fever. When he wakes, he refuses to name the culprit who tried to harm him.

Instead, he clutches the hem of Li Sangsang's skirt. “Sangsang, play with me, please.”

He carries the memories of his past life and decides to cherish Li Sangsang for the rest of his life. But Li Sangsang still dies in that cold winter.

Spring comes again, bringing warm weather and blooming flowers.

Young Gao Huan meets the girl Li Sangsang for the first time.

His head throbbing with pain, Gao Huan chases after her with bloodshot eyes.

“Miss, have we met before?”

“My name is Sangsang.”

Li Sangsang stands gracefully beneath a peach tree, smiling brightly.
