Blurb [Nine-Tailed Fox]
Humans and demons have always been at odds, and tensions have grown increasingly fierce over the past century. Humans have established numerous demon-hunting sects, and every demon they capture has its core dug out to help them cultivate.
The demon realm was once divided into four regions: east, west, south, and north. The Western Region led the demons, but now, to escape the humans' relentless pursuit, demons from every region have been forced to seek refuge in the west. The four regions have merged into one, and the former Western Demon King, Nan Qingfeng, has been acclaimed as Demon Emperor. The other three Demon Kings rank just below him as the Three Great Demon Kings.
The Demon Emperor has a younger brother named Qing Jiu, an adorable little fox with extraordinary cultivation. He has already grown nine tails and is only one step away from ascending to immortality. But he is incorrigibly playful, and his brother's repeated warnings go in one ear and out the other. He sneaks away from the demon realm, only to be spotted by a group of demon hunters. After days of fighting and pursuit, he finally runs out of strength, takes his original form outside a secluded manor, and falls unconscious.
The manor belongs to Prince An, the younger brother of the current ruler. He has just returned from the palace when he finds the badly injured little fox. He rescues him and cares for him day after day, and the little fellow gradually recovers. When he wakes and sees a human beside him, he leaps three feet into the air and cowers in a corner, wary of him. Prince An patiently explains the situation. The little fox agrees to let him care for him, but stays on guard every day, always suspecting that the man beside him has ulterior motives.
Once his injuries have mostly healed, the little fox takes human form. Though he remains suspicious, he is happy to be doted on and cared for. The two of them live together for a whole year. Prince An likes the little fox and does his utmost to give him nearly everything he wants, but he still can't get the little fox to let go of his suspicions.
Theme: The dangers of the human world can't keep them from falling in love.
To be honest, I have been looking for this novel for a long time. It is quite good. However, the plot, emotions, etc. Are not detailed and very rough. Some places give people a sudden feeling. The ending is also hasty. (I feel) there is no mention of whether Xiaojiu ascends or not, and it is too little to read. But overall this article is good
