The Powerhouse Who Led the Best Actress Astray

"Celebrities Take You on a Tour of Strange Tales" is a low-key reality show that never quite caught on.

The God of War Shiguang is banished to the mortal realm. She must do a good deed every day and accumulate merit before she can return to Heaven.

She becomes a little-known celebrity on the show.

Longevity Village, ancient city ruins, the Gu village of Qianjiang, a citywide zombie outbreak: she takes down every little monster that crosses her path.

At first, she and the aloof screen queen Li Wei can't stand each other. So Shiguang has no reservations, using whatever it takes to get what she wants: stink bombs, a halo of saintliness, money-grabbing hands, and zombie talismans. She's got a knack for using them on the screen queen.

After turning the screen queen into a goofy, snark-loving darling of the masses, Shiguang turns around and somehow ends up married to her.

Li Wei joins the crew of "Celebrities Take You on a Tour of Strange Tales" determined to uncover the secret behind her family's curse: none of them live past thirty. She never expects to meet a woman who ruins her love life and wrecks her public image. The woman makes her grind her teeth in frustration, yet she also stirs up a strange feeling in her.

Since she'd finally fallen for someone, Li Wei might as well lure her into her arms.

After earning enough merit, Shiguang assumes that her mortal romance with Li Wei is only meant to last one lifetime and isn't that important, so she fakes her death and leaves.

Back in Heaven, she spends every day longing to descend to the mortal world and see her wife, but she can no longer find her anywhere.

Then she accidentally learns that the woman is actually a fragment of the soul of the Taoist arts instructor she can't stand.

With books balanced on her head and her feet on a wooden stake, Shiguang gazes mournfully at the gorgeous instructor standing at the lectern and sheds tears of regret.
