My next book, "Interstellar Roommates," is in my author's profile. Feel free to add it to your collection if you're interested~
During work, Song Qiao read a novel called "Interstellar Zerg War." One of the female supporting characters shared her name. For the male lead's sake, Song Qiao and her older sister, Song Xiyao, fought from beginning to end, only for the female lead to steal the man from under their noses.
The novel had an unusual ending: the male villain joined forces with the Zerg and turned the entire planet into a breeding ground. He killed both the hero and heroine, and the Zerg took over the planet.
When it was time to leave work, Song Qiao shut down her computer, picked up her bag, and got ready to go.
There were more and more cars on the road. Song Qiao saw the light turn green, stepped onto the crosswalk, and started across. A pickup truck speeding wildly and swerving from side to side came hurtling toward her.
When Song Qiao woke again, the original owner's memories left her stunned. What kind of world was this? Beasts and humans had both awakened psychic powers and special abilities? And there were parasitic Zerg, too?
Guided by the memories, she made her way toward a base. Along the road, a black-and-white cat with a mottled coat lay beneath a tree, barely alive, staring at her.
"Could it be a beastfolk?"
Song Qiao remembered the beastfolk from the memories. Even in their animal forms, they were as big as humans. This little thing had to be a stray cat.
After walking barely ten steps, Song Qiao turned to look at the stray again. Its big, watery eyes gazed at her, innocent and full of longing.
Song Qiao sighed softly, went back, and picked it up. She carried it all the way to the base, one step at a time.
Content warning: Both the male and female leads transmigrate into a book. The male lead loses his memories when he transmigrates into the book and only regains them after returning to the real world.
Synopsis of "Interstellar Roommates"
Su Ling grew up in a braised-meat shop. She transmigrates into the body of a good-for-nothing on Planet Serok, with D-rank psychic power and an E-rank physique.
Blurb One
Standing in her livestream, she says, "I've found a way to prepare low-grade starbeast meat that can effectively reduce the harm it does to psychic power. You just need to use psychic power..."
[Desperate for money, are you?]
[Prepare low-grade starbeast meat? You can't eat low-grade meat at all. The radiation in it causes tremendous damage to psychic power, and even the research institute can't solve this problem.]
[Get lost! Why is StarNet recommending this garbage livestream to me?]
Stink bombs pelt Su Ling's face. In the full-dive simulation, she can clearly feel the slimy eggs and their suffocating stench. The livestream, which had still had dozens of viewers, empties in an instant.
Su Ling looks at the deserted livestream. She wipes her face, unable to get the words she wants to say out. She wants to let the facts speak for themselves, so she keeps preparing the starbeast meat. At last, she tests it with a detector. Looking at the numbers, she says softly, "The radiation level in the meat is now less than one percent. That shows this method works."
After she finishes speaking, she logs off StarNet. Her livestream video soon begins spreading wildly across the network.
A viewer who's been waiting in Su Ling's livestream for six months: The streamer hasn't shown up again today...
Blurb Two
The Cheng family hires a high-level nutritionist to stabilize Cheng Muqian's psychic power. But while crossing a protected zone, the nutritionist is abducted by space pirates aboard the ship.
Following directions from the rental agency, tenant Su Ling goes to the wrong residential complex and, by a twist of fate, ends up living in Cheng Muqian's home.
After a month of eating all kinds of braised-meat rice, Cheng Muqian's unstable psychic power is actually stabilized by the food?
Can this nutritionist's braised-meat rice repair psychic power?
Cheng Muqian: Weren't you sent by them to keep an eye on me?
Su Ling: Who are they?
Cheng Muqian: The Cheng family hired you to stabilize my psychic power. What else did they say?
Utterly confused, Su Ling: ??? What are you talking about? I paid rent to rent a place!
This is the story of someone who thinks she's a tenant, while her landlord thinks she's a nutritionist.
Theme: One good deed can change someone's life.
? Jiang Yian died like this??? I thought I would live longer
The humans who were unknowingly assimilated by the female bugs were also miserable.
The writing is really rough, and key information is often given in one stroke, making it difficult to understand. There are a bunch of inexplicable and difficult emotions that appear in a person, which are not reasonable anyway. He does not look like a person, but like a schizophrenic/mental illness.
It's so brainless, so inexplicable, does everyone want to hate the heroine?
It's not this person named Cao. What's going on? I didn't write it down, okay [I changed it] It looked normal from the front, as if she had completely accepted the heroine's previous personality, but now she's walking around, making thunder out of thin air. Hum, don't let me know that you betrayed Brother Nan. I'm really speechless. I looked like a normal person before and nothing happened. Hum, don't let me know that you betrayed Brother Nan.
The writing is so sloppy, but this isn't a hell start for the female supporting character.
Hey, is that doctor and him a couple?
It looks like it's pre-accepted, so cheers up
??? Finished??? I originally wanted to stock up a few days ago emmm
The only regret is that I don't have a baby, everything else is very good
