My Archnemesis Has Returned to the Capital

PS1: [Highlight] This is the author's first novel, so it's very rough around the edges.

2: Bonus Chapter 4 is on Weibo @Suowangjiecheng.

Xue Jian is the daughter of the current emperor's maternal uncle. Born into nobility, she was arrogant and unruly from a young age. Then one day, she scared Li Yu, the capital's number-one spoiled wastrel, into falling ill.

Was Li Yu the sort of person to let that go? The first thing he said when he awoke was, “Go grab Xue Jian for me.” Unfortunately, instead of Xue Jian's head, he got news that she'd fled the capital overnight.

Li Yu was so furious that he recovered completely! He hired a painter at great expense to follow Xue Jian and capture her every move in portraits. At the beginning of each month, the paintings were sent back to the capital so he could know his enemy and plan the perfect revenge.

Seven years later. A young man in splendid clothes rode a tall horse, dashing and dazzling, prompting everyone to wonder which family he belonged to.

Li Yu held the portrait the painter had just sent back and looked at the young man on horseback. He practically spat the words out through gritted teeth:

“What kind of young master? That's my sworn enemy!”

Theme: Sincerity is what moves people most.
