[Dream of the Red Chamber] Fixing the Jia Family School from the Start

After enduring nine years of compulsory education in the 21st century, Jia She, the Grand Master of the Rongguo Mansion, doesn’t break down. Instead, a spark catches in his heart: he wants to become a glorious teacher of the people.

Before he can fulfill his ambition, he’s sent back to the crumbling Jia household. Looking at all the young masters who spend their days gambling and chasing after dogs, Jia She grins. Perfect, I need a place to do my teaching practicum.

After getting Jia Dairu fired in no time, Jia She sets to work building a school.

Slacking off? From now on, there’ll be a short test every three days and a big exam every month. Anyone who fails is running laps!

Sleeping in class? At your age, how can you possibly sleep? You’ll study from six in the morning until ten at night. If studying can’t kill you, then study until it does!

The Jia household, in their heads: Studying like this is going to kill us!

But Jia She, having experienced the college entrance exams, thinks: This is nothing.

After that, the Jia family’s children learn that there is a kind of agony called math, a kind of headache called foreign languages, and a kind of torture called the San Wu workbook!

Even the Old Ancestress is alarmed. She rushes over to protect her darling, only for Jia She to shove an enrollment-rate sheet in her face. Everyone in the capital wants to get into my Jia family school. Are you sure you want your darling to drop out?

[Extra Scene]

The Grand Master of the Rongguo Mansion is outrageous. He’s letting girls and boys study in the same classroom and take exams together!

At first, everyone treats it as a joke. Then the final exams roll around...

Help! The top three are all girls. The noble young men have been utterly crushed!
