The Kitten and the Kun Rely on Each Other

The kitten Cheng Zijun transmigrated. When he woke up, he discovered that he had become a doomed male supporting character in a lucky-charm novel set in an age when cultivation had declined.

The lucky-charm protagonist is kind, beautiful, and blessed with both good fortune and the ability to attract wealth. Cheng Zijun is the exact opposite: gloomy, cold, and solitary, born with a cursed tongue and terrible luck. By the third chapter, the protagonist drives him out. He is left destitute and penniless, with nothing but a contracted husband who is supposedly yet to awaken: a scrawny little black fish with a deformed fin.

Cheng Zijun: …

Raise him until he's nice and fat, then slaughter him! (Just kidding.) He might be the first kitten in the world to marry a fish.

The Kun is so huge, it won't fit in a pot! (Just kidding.) The Kun is so huge, it won't fit in a bathtub!

Beside it was a cat as black as ink jade, staring at him with huge, gleaming golden eyes, drooling with hunger.

Yin Kun: …
