Hearing him sniffle, Fu Xing’s gaze deepens. He quietly hides the broken porcelain shard in his sleeve. It is stained with blood from where he cut his own arm.

It isn’t until the day of their secondary gender presentation that Ruan Sheng realizes the person beside him is the wrong gender.

Before You Wu can expose the AI’s identity, news arrives that the general has woken up and recovered!

With the wedding approaching, You Wu sneaks off to find his AI and says sarcastically, “What should we do? I don’t like that general. Let’s elope tomorrow night.”

The AI’s eyes flicker, and he smiles. “All right. Whatever you say, Master.”

The next morning, You Wu packs his things and prepares to run away, planning to stand the AI up so he’ll never find him again.

But as soon as he steps outside, he sees a whole formation of soldiers lined up neatly at the door. The man at their head is blond and blue-eyed, broad-shouldered and narrow-waisted, dressed in a crisp uniform.

You Wu does his best to stay calm, but nearly twists his ankle as he walks over.

The man catches him and holds him firmly by the waist.

“Heh,” You Wu says awkwardly. “You’re here early, haha.”

The man sighs. His deep voice is maddeningly familiar. “What can I do? My fiance put horns on me, so of course I have to come and bring him back...”
