Growing Mutant Plants in an Infinite World

A strange character showed up in the Nightmare Game.

He was pretty handsome, but he seemed to have something wrong with his head.

When he entered a new instance, he didn't look for items or do any quests.

The first thing he did was survey the vast wasteland beside the village and exclaim, "What a huge stretch of black soil. We could grow a lot of potatoes here."

The players: What's wrong with him? Better keep our distance.

After the players had worked themselves to the bone completing the quest, they reached the village entrance.

There, they found the handsome guy with something wrong with his head surrounded by a group of... plants?

Potatoes as tall as people, chili peppers that breathed fire, boxing cabbages...

The boss, who had been swaggering in front of the players, cautiously walked through the vegetable patch. A cabbage punched him twice, and he didn't dare make a sound.

Wait, how are you even more of a boss than the boss?

When the handsome guy saw the players, he gave them a domineering smile.

"Want to clear the stage? Come help me farm."

Cheng Ze had originally lived in a post-apocalyptic world.

Zombies surrounded the city, food was scarce, and humanity stood on the brink of extinction.

Even Cheng Ze, a powerful wielder of both water and wood abilities, could do nothing about it.

One day, he was unexpectedly bound to the Nightmare Game.

Players who cleared instances could exchange rewards in the shop, and even bring items from the instances back to reality.

Cheng Ze: Your land can absorb zombie viruses? Great, this land is mine now!

System: ???

Inside the instances, Cheng Ze relied on his water and wood abilities to sweep through the Nightmare Game, turning countless instances into his personal food-producing farms.

Outside the instances, he traded for high-tech equipment from the System's shop, armed his little base to the teeth, and steadily expanded it until it became a beacon of hope for humanity...

In a ravaged post-apocalyptic world, all of humanity believed they were about to face a hopeless end from which no one would survive.

They prayed fervently for the gods to descend and grant them life and a future.

Until one day,

Cheng Ze appeared, bringing countless supplies of food and water, along with tools to withstand the apocalypse.

He said:

"There are no gods in this world."

"But I can become one."
