Even the Echizen Family Cat Plays Tennis?!

One day during lunch break, Karubin accidentally gets bound to a Sports System. Whenever he falls asleep, the System automatically boots up and randomly matches him with a tennis coach. Today’s coach is... Rikkai’s rising star, the successor to Rikkai’s Big Three, Kirihara Akaya! When he wakes from his dream, Kirihara, dazed and confused, asks Marui, “Have you ever seen a cat person, Senpai?” Marui: “A cat person? You mean a person with a cat’s face?” Kirihara: “That’d be so weird! That’s definitely not it, Senpai!” The next day, Marui quietly pulls Kirihara aside. “I’ve seen the cat person. Cat ears and a tail. Pretty cute, actually.” Kirihara’s eyes go wide. Unable to keep his voice down, he complains angrily, “Karubin broke his promise! He said he’d keep letting me teach him tennis!” Later, elite players from the tennis clubs of various middle schools fight over who gets to keep Karubin. ○ The System plays a very small role.
