To avoid actually dying of overwork, Wei Fanxing handed in her resignation as soon as she left the emergency room.
But when she got home, she had to face her aunts and other relatives nagging her to get married, so she quickly packed her bags and went to work as a consulting doctor at Huichuntang.
To her surprise, it was a new workplace, but her colleagues were all familiar faces.
Their interactions went like this:
Ji Shi: "Why is your hand shaking so much? A lingering effect of your brain hemorrhage?"
Wei Fanxing clenched her fists. "What lingering effect? You're the one making me so mad!"
Whenever people tried to set Ji Shi up on blind dates, he brushed them off with the all-purpose excuse: "Even rabbits don't eat the grass by their own burrows."
Finally, one day, Ji Shi, the pride of the provincial Chinese medicine hospital, prepared to resign and go home to take over the family business!
The single women who had been eyeing him happily spread the news. They thought they were no longer grass by his burrow and prepared to sharpen their knives and go after him.
Then he changed his tune. "If it's good grass, then it's fine if it grows by my burrow."
That grass had a name: Wei Fanxing.
Wei Fanxing: "Can you stop messing with me? Dating you would really cut into my paycheck. :)"
Ji Shi: "No. Didn't you know? I've had my eye on you for ages."
Wei Fanxing: "...I'm your martial aunt. It would be against the natural order for us to get together!"
Ji Shi: "I'd suggest you stop being so hung up on seniority. :)"

Upcoming Story: Magpies Over the Starry Bridge
Blurb:
Tan Xingqiao, the chief resident in the neurosurgery department at First Affiliated Hospital, has been acting strangely lately. People often catch him hiding in a corner to call and make plans with different women.
Yesterday, he asked his older sister: "Que-jie, want to go for a walk tonight? The weather's been nice lately."
Today, he called someone else: "A-Luan, don't go to sleep yet. I'll come see you after I finish my shift."
His junior colleagues all said, "That's Tan for you, enjoying the company of a harem. We're jealous."
A colleague, while envying him, warned, "Old Tan, be careful you don't get caught. It could look bad."
Tan Xingqiao defended himself. "...I haven't."
But before long, everyone realized they'd been fooled.
The woman who came to see Tan Xingqiao today was a spirited young lady holding a motorcycle helmet. "Tan Xingqiao, get out here, now!"
The girl who came to see him tomorrow was sweet and demure, smiling at everyone. "Tan Xingqiao, I brought you lunch!"
His colleagues all said, "And you still say you're not two-timing? Liar! Your personal conduct is terrible!"
Tan Xingqiao: "..." Are you blind? You can't even tell it's the same person with a different makeup look???
The mastermind, Qin Que, smiled faintly, keeping her contribution to herself. This is what you get for coveting me!

Theme: Carry on the classics of Chinese medicine.
There is always a feeling that it has come to an abrupt end. There is no writing about the wedding or the baby.
Ah... There is no extra story! …(The out-of-control screaming chicken is online…)
I really like the pairing of Ji Shi and Fanxing. Ji Shi is a very bright boy but he discovered the beauty of Fanxing very early. He is a good girl with courage and justice. The daily work routine of the two is warm and cute, and the life together with the super cute Mr. Ji's big cat is really so happy❤️
It's beautiful ~ the ending is too fast [laughing and crying]
That's it! ! ! Not enough?
I like big cats, hahahaha. The Chinese medicine in this article is enough for daily needs. It's a good article.
Good looking! It would be great if there were extras!
After reading this article, there are only three words in my mind... Da da da, da da da...
If nothing else goes wrong, Dad, I have promised to write a new article.
It's finished and I'm looking forward to the next book.
