My Ex Came Looking for Me After He Died

After his grandfather passed away, Ji Nian quit his job and returned to his hometown.

While visiting the graves for the Qingming Festival, he happened to glance at the neighboring grave. The photo on the headstone was so familiar that Ji Nian couldn't bear to look at it a second time.

It was unmistakably the person he'd loved with all his heart in high school.

After he got home, Ji Nian came down with a high fever in the middle of the night.

He dreamed he was dressed in a bright red wedding robe, sitting in a sedan chair that swayed as it carried him to an unknown destination.

When the chair came to a stop, someone slowly lifted the red cloth covering his head.

Ji Nian looked up in alarm and suddenly saw Lu Wang's handsome, somewhat aloof face gazing quietly at him.

...Ji Nian was so terrified that he woke up.

The next second, the phone on his bedside table suddenly rang.

Ji Nian answered with trembling hands.

Amid the sound of dripping water, a soft laugh came from the other end: "Niannian, why are you running?"
