Certified Public Accountant X Financial Crimes Investigator
There's revenge, suspense, and criminal cases, with some financial knowledge involved. How complicated it gets depends on how much research I can find.
(1) At twenty-two, Xu Xing was dragged to a bar by her coworkers for the first time to drink with a client.
A group of middle-aged men ogled the young, pretty woman and made a ruckus.
“Little miss, don't drink alcohol when you're out and about. Have a Long Island iced tea instead.”
That night, Xu Xing used ten Long Island iced teas to take down all the men at the table and became famous in one fell swoop.
At twenty-two, Fu Rong was wearing his newly issued police uniform and following his team on a raid targeting prostitution when he caught a young woman who had managed to get eight men drunk all by herself.
Her face was flushed, but the panic in her expression couldn't hide the sly look in her eyes.
“Has the ambulance I called arrived yet?”
Note: A Long Island iced tea is a high-alcohol cocktail, also known as a “panty-dropper.”

At twenty-seven, Xu Xing sat in the interrogation room, calmly looking at Fu Rong across from her.
“Officer Fu, will my boss go to prison?”
Fu Rong's hand trembled slightly, and his ballpoint pen tore a hole in the interrogation notes.
He said expressionlessly, “I think you know more about the law in this area than I do.”
Xu Xing sighed with relief. “That's good.”

After ten years of steeling herself for revenge, Xu Xing sent the person who had killed her uncle to prison. As she left the courthouse, Fu Rong was waiting for her at the entrance, dressed in his police uniform and just as neat as the first time they met.
“I'd like to buy you a drink.”
Xu Xing smiled. “What are we having?”
“Would a Long Island iced tea do?” Fu Rong asked.
“I can't hold my liquor. I'll probably get drunk easily,” Xu Xing said with a playful wink.
Fu Rong thought she was joking, but that night she really did get drunk, drunk enough to have sex with him.
