This Salted Fish Doesn't Want to Save the World Anymore

In his previous life, Kageyama Hanyu was an overworked office drone who died suddenly. In this life, he only wants to live a carefree, easygoing life, complaining with his friends that work is crap while lazing through his days and doting on his younger brother. But somehow, life just won't let him have his way. Kageyama Hanyu says he only picked up a dried-up finger. He thought the thing inside it was just a cursed spirit pretending to be the King of Curses from a thousand years ago, so he made it work for him and let him slack off. But... who could have guessed the guy was the real deal... As a result, rumors began spreading among both the special-grade cursed spirits and the sorcerers. They say there is a terrifying curse user, so powerful that even the King of Curses bows to him, while the Six Eyes can't do a thing about him. He does whatever he likes, with no distinction between good and evil. When he's happy, he might casually save a passerby. When he's unhappy, he wipes out humans and cursed spirits alike. The special-grade cursed spirits and the higher-ups in the jujutsu world watched him eagerly, eagerly presenting invitations for him to join their side so they could achieve great things together and reach the pinnacle of life! Kageyama Hanyu: ??? What kind of nonsense are you making up?! I only hired subordinates so I could slack off! And I'm a model citizen!! At some point, a white-haired guy wearing a blindfold also showed up and started following him around. "Hanyu~ Be my student~" (in a coquettish voice) "Or maybe you'd like to develop a different kind of relationship!" "Sorry, uncle, we don't know each other." (refusing) 1: A crossover with psychic bystanders, jujutsu, and a little skateboarding. 2: A hodgepodge of settings and lots of headcanons. Some characters may be out of character, so please click X if you can't accept that. 3: Updates are on a fixed schedule, with extra chapters when I have something to say. At other times, I'm just fixing typos. Sorry, the author is terrible at proofreading (.). I thought everyone around me was chuunibyou... New story coming soon, please bookmark it~ Yuma bought the latest full-dive game and invited his friend Saiki to play. As he logged in, his consciousness grew hazy and he heard something about a System binding... a new life reboot game... Even though the game wasn't what the ads promised, it was a blast! Yuma decided he had to beat it, but then he realized all his teammates were chuunibyou! The System might have made them do a little roleplaying, but why were they taking a game so seriously? For example, the orange-haired guy in a hat kept claiming he was a black-suited executive. Whenever he got mad, he threatened to crush the lot of them with gravity! The bald guy in a cape said he was a hero for fun, and that his dream was to become a great A-rank hero admired by everyone! The white-haired guy in a blindfold didn't even have a teaching license, but called himself a teacher every day. He also said that if they ever got out, he'd kill all the old geezers and rotten oranges! Yuma: ...Fine, fine, whatever you say. First we need to finish the System missions! By the way... why are you all so bad at this game? One day, through a twist of fate during a mission, the System finally unlocked a combat level. That day, he suddenly saw the formerly short and cute orange-haired guy actually lift a boulder! The bald guy punched a building to pieces! The white-haired guy in the blindfold raised his hand and blasted an entire street!! ...Wait! Are you saying you really aren't chuunibyou?!! He threw his arms around Saiki and wailed, "Oh my god, these people are terrifying! I'm so glad you're still a weak, ordinary person!" Saiki: ... Theme: People must dare to break free from the shackles of their lives.
