Coiled Snake [Nonhuman]

After accidentally offending a rich heir, Jiang Qingyu loses her role, bringing her acting career to an abrupt end just as it was taking off. At the urging of a middle-school classmate she hasn't seen in years, who has ulterior motives, she goes to a remote mountain village to experience the role and ends up becoming what they call a "Snake God devotee." The ritual to summon the god has three stages. After completing the first stage, Jiang Qingyu starts dreaming of a huge white-scaled python, slick and clammy. During the second and third stages, the cats and dogs next door howl miserably every night, and a thick, fishy stench seems to hang around her home... Her endorsements are selling like crazy, and her role is a huge hit. Just as Jiang Qingyu's career is flourishing, an actress who once kicked her while she was down tumbles down a staircase, while the rich heir who won't stop harassing her suffers brake failure and plunges off a cliff. He is still in intensive care, hovering between life and death. After this, the police keep showing up to question and investigate her, and the truth becomes clear. Jiang Qingyu suddenly realizes: It's time to drive that filthy snake monster away. * A beautiful, ambitious, acting-obsessed maniac x an evil god Warning: [This is all made up, typical trashy web fiction. Stay firmly committed to the core socialist values.] Slow burn, slow burn, slow burn. The early part looks realistic, but this is indeed a strange, supernatural story that gradually falls apart into a Lovecraftian style. Please don't view it through a normal lens. Theme: People must pay the price for their decisions.
