Pinned gossip at Jujutsu High: When will third-year senpai Satoru Gojo finally win over first-year Yuji Itadori?
Shoko: Never. With Satoru Gojo's shitty personality, not making someone so mad they cut ties with him is already a feat worthy of accumulating good karma in a past life.
Satoru Gojo: Of course I have a chance! And it'll happen soon! Because I'm Satoru Gojo!
On the last day of the third month after his fifteenth birthday, not long after enrolling at Jujutsu High, Yuji Itadori presented as an omega.
It was shocking, to say the least.
Nobara Kugisaki: That's ridiculous! I thought you'd present as an A. Even presenting as a B seemed more likely than turning into an O... It's practically a genetic mutation!
Megumi Fushiguro: ...I think I've smelled your pheromones somewhere before. I've got a bad feeling about this.
As the three of them talked, the senpai famous for being "hard to deal with, bad-tempered" and "good-looking" appeared around the corner.
A familiar pheromone scent drifted over from the other side, just like the one they'd smelled on Yuji a moment ago.
Nobara and Megumi: ...
What are the odds? He just presented and already found his fated mate, and it's a senpai at the school he just transferred to?!
Main pairing: Satoru Gojo, an A who seems mean but is pure-hearted inside, gorgeous and strong, x Yuji Itadori, a sunny, cheerful, understanding, straightforward, sporty O
Side pairing: Sukuna Itadori, an A, x Megumi Fushiguro, a B
Notes:
1. My take on ABO, with a setting closer to reality. Pheromones are a form of personal identification and don't easily trigger heat. Heat refers to a period when one's libido is especially strong. If it isn't relieved, the only effects are minor physical discomforts like dizziness or lower back pain, with no other adverse effects. Heat isn't forced. Of course, having sex with a partner during heat will make you feel especially good, physically and mentally. The more similar two people's pheromone scents are, the higher their compatibility. If they're exactly the same, they're fated mates. The children of fated mates inherit all their parents' strengths, except their personalities. People present as A, B, or O within three months of their fifteenth birthday.
2. Toji Fushiguro is alive. Megumi and Satoru Gojo aren't father and son, but they've met several times. Satoru finds it baffling that the son of the sorcerer killer has to earn money to support his dad, so he "looks after" Megumi out of pity (Megumi: I don't want this kind of looking after!). Suguru doesn't defect. Yu Haibara doesn't die. All the other tragedies have been avoided, too. This is an absurdly harmonious world, absurd even by Jinjiang's standards, and so harmonious it's out of character.
3. Sukuna and Yuji are twins. There's no brain-hopping fake Suguru or brain-hopping Yuji's mom. Yuji transferred schools because his awakened cursed energy attracted too many curses. Sukuna was born with two faces and four arms and has a short temper, but his parents raised him properly, so he has a reasonably normal sense of humanity and doesn't eat people. Because the twins are unusual and Yuji hadn't awakened cursed energy, he was thought to be an ordinary person. Sukuna enrolled first, and Yuji enrolled after awakening cursed energy following his fifteenth birthday. Sukuna and Satoru Gojo are evenly matched in a fight.
Theme: So sweet it's ridiculous.
