[Crossover] Another Day of Trying to Pass as Human

On the day the full-dive game World shut down, System 0956 officially received its System license and set out to find a human Host. System 0956 rushed to bind itself to the glimmer of a soul it had taken an interest in earlier, only to awkwardly discover that the one it had bound itself to wasn’t human. It had bound itself to a player character in the full-dive game, a soul born inside an empty shell. “Are you the System Daddy the master talked about?” “No.” “Are you going to leave like the master did?” “I wish I could, but why is your soul so weak?! If I unbind myself, you’ll fall apart, won’t you? Wouldn’t that mean I killed someone on my very first day as a System? I’d be taken back for punishment and have my System license revoked.” “I’m not human, so it wouldn’t count as killing someone.” “I can’t explain this to you. Forget it. Would you like to be my Host? We can learn together how to become human.” “If I become human, can I see the master again?” “I don’t know. Maybe, if your master is still alive.” “Okay.” “Then it’s a deal. Hello, my partner.” “Hello, my partner.” Probably a world-hopping story about encountering the brilliance of humanity in different worlds. The CP isn’t decided. If there is one, it’ll probably be between the soul and the System. The soul hasn’t been named yet. A note left on November 21, 2020, at 11:50 Theme: The brilliance of human nature
