This is not a story about a successful man coming to a little world, using an overpowered golden finger to show off and face-slap others, then achieving success all over again.
This is the story of a man who gets a golden finger, puts it to use, studies it, and gradually becomes something inhuman (yes, literally).
If he can travel between worlds and has several lifetimes to live, yet only manages to achieve success by ordinary standards...
What is the point of that?
Especially when he has a golden finger beyond all understanding.
After discovering he can keep transmigrating between worlds, Lu Yishi decides to stop being human.
The ultimate limits of civilization, technology, the universe, life, and the mind.
His journey is to the stars and the sea.

Reader advisory:
The protagonist gradually becomes twisted. He wasn't a good person to begin with, but remember not to judge him by normal moral standards.
The main story moves at a breakneck pace. The progress bar shoots ahead, and before you know it, productivity has advanced to the point where everyone is being modified into humanoid weapons.
Written for the author's own amusement, with plenty of parody and snark throughout.
No CP, no romance. No one could feel human affection for something inhuman, for a demon.
And the demon wouldn't feel it in return.
He doesn't care.
