After Offending the Villain, I Pretended to Be a Goofball to Stay Alive

Gu Shifei read a novel where the protagonist mistook the original story for fanfiction. In the plot, the protagonist thought the villain who was trying to kill him was his sweet little wife, which led to a series of hilarious mishaps. Gu Shifei had laughed heartily at it. Then he transmigrated, and found himself facing the villainous senior brother, whose previous life had ended in a brutal death and whose corruption level was maxed out. Gu Shifei couldn't laugh anymore. He knew that in the next moment, this senior brother would take his life and slaughter the entire sect. Gu Shifei had only just joined the sect and couldn't even defend himself. He was terrified. What was he supposed to do? In his panic, an idea flashed through his mind. A tear slid down his face, his eyes brimmed with emotion, and he spoke in a lilting voice: "Senior Brother~" Mistaking the villain for his sweet little wife was out of the question. If he acted like the husband, he would have to treat the villain well at every turn to lessen his murderous intent, giving him every good thing he had. Besides, a villain with a normal orientation might think that calling him "wife" was deliberate humiliation and speed up his own death. Gu Shifei decided he might as well become the villain's wife instead. So he nestled into the villain's arms and pounded his chest with his tiny fists. "You made so many vows of eternal love to me back in the village! Why, after I came to the sect, did I hear those people say... say that you'd fallen for some junior sister?" "You heartless man! Waaaah!" Dramatic schemer seme x reborn, ruthless, and murderous demonic senior brother Theme: With great power comes great responsibility.
