The young Imperial Preceptor Jing Xu happened to find a stone. This utterly ordinary stone seemed to resemble the Taihe Jade, the treasure people would do anything to get their hands on??? The texts describe the Taihe Jade as something so magnificent, and now you're telling me it looks like a pebble! Who would believe that? Well, it turns out I have to. But as the story goes on... why does the stone's human form look exactly like me? Ta-da! What if I told you this was simply a story about an ordinary stone having an ordinary romance, then discovering in the most ordinary way that it was essentially a story about falling in love with yourself. Would you believe me? The young Imperial Preceptor Xu, outwardly calm but inwardly complaining like mad, X a stone spirit who learns by imitation when there's a model and makes things up when there isn't.
