In the New Calendar year 289, the supercomputer Li, which served the powerful Imperial Government, attempted to take control of the stars.

It extracted a substance called SJD, also known as a seed, from the products of illegal fusion between mutant creatures and humans.

The seeds were colorless, odorless, and invisible to the naked eye. Once inhaled, they caused mutations, turning people into terrifying mutants.

Unfortunately, within just a few dozen hours, mutants broke out everywhere and spread rapidly to other planets. The Empire fell, and humanity was on the brink of extinction.

Yin Lang was the only Dark Abyss Guide in the stars, and a deputy captain in the Federation Tower reserve forces. He possessed stunning beauty and exceptionally powerful mental abilities.

Ten years earlier, during the great mutant purge, he had summoned an army of spirit entities to repel the mutant creatures and win the battle. But he lost his memory as a result, and was even wrongfully imprisoned, spending the darkest ten years of his life behind bars.

Faced with mutants even more savage than mutant creatures, Yin Lang did not retreat. He stepped forward once again, but this time, he would not be fighting alone.

Let's Settle It on the Track

Every F1 fan knows that Bai Chong of the Hoding team and Jiang Yan of the Puxidun team are rivals.

In every race, they chase each other down the track for first place, driving their expensive F1 cars like bumper cars.

They also talk big over team radio, and some media outlets even claim to have filmed them brawling after a race.

But no one expected Jiang Yan to race for Hoding in the new season.

Predictably, the two teammates kept fighting, handing one race victory after another to their rivals.

Just when everyone thought they'd go on fighting forever, they returned from the summer break, and fans discovered that the much-loved on-track rivalry had completely vanished. There wasn't even a hint of a battle between them.

Bai Chong left everyone behind, winning every race with an overwhelming lead and charging toward his ninth drivers' championship, while Jiang Yan stayed close behind with some fantastical maneuvers, blocking every opponent for him and taking second place.

Not only that, the two were seen with their arms around each other in the lounge, chatting and laughing.

Faced with such a surreal turn of events, fans came up with all sorts of theories.

The Beloved Little White Rabbit in Another World

Su Jingchen is reborn as a little white rabbit with black-tipped ears in another world ruled by savage beasts.

Before Gu Hai was reborn, he was a live-action game tester and a game streamer with tens of millions of followers, known as “D God.”

To get away from the lunatic who had claimed the top spot on his fan leaderboard, the first thing he did after opening his eyes was delete his account and start streaming from an alternate account.

Fans still grieving the disappearance of gaming legend D God happened to stumble across a new stream.

Just as everyone expected the newcomer to meet the same fate as other players and die during the opening meal, he not only enjoyed the food in the restaurant, but saved someone too. In the end, he calmly walked out of the restaurant with a rare item called “Frost Crystal” hanging around his neck.

Comments: The gameplay isn't just similar to D God's. It's exactly the same.

This new star from nowhere cleared the game, gained tens of thousands of followers, racked up hundreds of millions of views, and had his gameplay clips spreading everywhere. He became a legend overnight.

When the newcomer entered the next five-star game, Zero-Degree Deep Sea, which D God had called a “blessing” for people with thalassophobia, the audience finally caught on.

Comments: “Holy crap, could this be D God's alt account?”

Comments: “His gameplay looks a tiny bit like D God's!”

Becoming a legend or not didn't matter. What mattered was that he'd finally gotten rid of that lunatic.

But the lunatic had already become his teammate and was always by his side.

One time, Gu Hai was just about to recruit a monster and make it his own.

But that person killed the monster with one stroke, carved off a piece of rotten flesh, sniffed it with an expression of pure enjoyment, and offered it to him. “Here, be good. You must be hungry. Have some meat.”
